Digital versions of buildings like CA Immo’s City Gate help developers lease their space more quickly

Developer CA Immo Hungary has struck a deal to use the office leasing tool to digitise five of its prime office developments in Budapest.

Through the partnership, Bright Spaces will create digital showcasing, marketing and leasing platforms for the five assets in order to speed up the leasing process.

The digital twins will replicate the finished buildings and offer tech, health and security information. Future tenants will be able to explore office units for lease, see the spaces with or without a fit-out, discover surrounding areas and a book a tour or request an offer.

Additionally, CA Immo’s leasing team will have access to secure management dashboards that provide all the data they need to keep track of availability, financials and generate contracts.

Based in Bucharest, Bright Spaces kickstarted its expansion through the Pi Labs Accelerator in 2020. Since then, it has signed up clients such as Avison Young Romania and expanded into the UK.

John McKie, MD of CA Immo Hungary, said: “We are delighted with this development, which brings our office buildings to life virtually with Bright Spaces.

“With this new feature, our customers can even better imagine their future office. In addition, we are happy to be part of the expansion of such a promising tech startup like Bright Spaces and to have found a long-term strategic partner.”

Listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, CA Immo has a €6.5bn portfolio with assets across Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.

Hungary is one of its core markets, with €485m of assets in the capital, Budapest. The five buildings Bright Spaces will digitise are:

  • City Gate
  • Millennium Tower I
  • Millennium Tower II
  • Millennium Tower III
  • Millennium Tower H

Bogdan Nicoara, CEO and co-founder of Bright Spaces, said: “Bright Spaces is growing and expanding in a very strategic market. We are honoured to be working with such a respected and highly experienced partner, CA Immo Hungary.

“Digitisation of the built environment is the way to go for real estate in order to accelerate leasing cycles, reduce the carbon footprint and offer their tenants a stellar digital experience, aligned with today’s technological advancements. We are dedicated to this mission and are happy to work with partners who share the same vision.”
