Next Thursday and Friday, 10 and 11 November, we will be holding the Legal Innovators conference in London, Etc Venues, St Paul’s, created by Artificial Lawyer and organised by Cosmonauts.
It’s the third time we have held the event here, and it’s the fifth iteration globally, which includes our first conference in California this June, plus a virtual event – and it’s so good to be here in-person again!
So, what is Legal Innovators all about? Fundamentally it’s about change. It’s as simple as that: change within the legal market, among law firms, ALSPs and inhouse.
Change in how people work, how they approach legal needs, how they think about the use of data, contracting, knowledge management, delivery and the production of legal work. It’s also about changes to the way we think about standardisation, new ways of working and work/life balance.
It’s also about new business models and ‘More than Law’ approaches, as well as the growth of innovation teams inside legal businesses and the development of teams that build their own tech solutions.
And it’s also about legal ops and consulting services to help organisations improve many of the aspects noted above.
Now, you may say: that’s a lot! But, it’s also all connected together. It’s a living ecosystem of people, organisations, ideas and technology. And it’s all moving in one direction: forwards!
So, I proudly look forward to welcoming you to this excellent two-day conference about all things legal innovation, with literally dozens of great speakers, law firms and companies to hear from and to engage with.
I hope you have a very enjoyable and worthwhile time! See you there!
