It is thought that the pilot, called Smooth Start, will see estate agents being able to onboard clients at the early stages of the home-buying and selling process.
Already Just Mortgages, part of the SpicerHaart Group and one of the largest mortgage brokerages in the UK with more than 580 mortgage advisers can choose an enhanced SpicerHaart Conveyancing option called JM Legal. That uses the eWay case management tool to provide electronic quote, instruction and advanced case tracking.
Features on the eConveyancer platform also include DigitalMove, which brings together key stakeholders in the homebuying and selling process in a digital journey that improves communication and reduces transaction times. While its Rapid Remortgage has been designed to make remortgaging just as quick and convenient as a product transfer.
A spokeswoman says: “We do have an estate agency pilot group called Smooth Start and more details will be revealed in the next two to three weeks.”
Elsewhere eConveyancer has also won new contracts with TMA Club and Wesleyan Financial Services as well as strengthening its partnership with L&C Mortgages, launching a new software integration with the firm. The deal will enable L&C to instruct approved conveyancers from eConveyancer’s bespoke panel of audited and benchmarked conveyancing firms from within their existing systems.
Karen Rodrigues, sales director at eConveyancer, says: “Conveyancing is such an important part of the homebuying process and can play a crucial role in a client’s experience, which is why we are continuing to invest in the ongoing development of eConveyancer and cutting edge services like DigitalMove and Rapid remortgage.”
